Technology is so amazing. After running out of money, the guy that made the Oscar nominated documentary, "Searching for Sugar Man," still needed some footage.
Then he remembered he had an iPhone movie app that applies a stylized look to your videos like Instagram does for photos.
So, some of the footage in the movie, an Oscar nominated movie no less, was actually shot by an iPhone.
That's crazy to me, that we have the same technology that this filmmaker used. And once long ago, we had to spend in the hundreds of dollars for a video camera. Now, most of us have one in our pocket.
