It might just be as easy as admitting you were speeding and promising to be safer.

Not knowing anything about the actual situation, I feel the student was out of line. I love that he thinks for himself, I think what he said about teaching is right on. I just feel that he should have talked with her one on one; there was no need to do it in front of other students. His message is good, but I feel because he didn't allow her to save face in front of her class, she won't hear it because she's embarrassed and now there's a lot of pride involved.

Again, I don't know the whole situation, but the one thing I take away is he's right about what a good teacher is, someone that engages students, realizes different students learn in different ways and that you have to work to teach not just hand out packets.
