I cannot believe this actually happened.
An 87 year old woman died after a nurse refused to perform CPR.
It happened at an elderly living facility in California. The woman stopped breathing, so a nurse called 911, but told the operator she couldn’t perform CPR because it was against policy to provide medical care. Glenwood Gardens is an independent living facility which, by law, is not licensed to provide medical care to any of its residents.
