What really happened the night Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius shot his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp? Only 2 people know, and one of them is dead.
Oscar initially said he shot her by mistake, thinking she was an intruder, as she snuck into his apartment to surprise him for Valentine's Day.
UPDATE (Feb 25):
There’s a lot more to this story than originally thought. Police have told Reeva Steenkamp’s family that Oscar Pistorius bashed her head with a cricket bat before shooting her. Oscar says he used the bat to break down his bathroom door after shooting her by mistake.
And now Oscar's brother is being charged with murder too. Carl Pistorius is facing up to 15 years for allegedly hitting and killing a woman on a motorcycle with his car in 2010.
UPDATE (Feb 19):
Story #1 - In court, Pistorius said he heard a noise coming from the bathroom, so he grabbed his gun, yelled at the "intruder" and then shot through the bathroom door. Then he yelled at Reeva, who he thought was sleeping next to him, to call the police. But she wasn't there. That's when he realized she was in the bathroom. He then carried her downstairs where she died in his arms.
Story #2 - The other side of the story is that Oscar and Reeva were asleep together in his home. Reeva received a late night text from rugby star Francois Hougaard. Shortly after, Oscar shot her in the bedroom, and hit her in the hip. She then ran and locked herself in the bathroom. He fired 3 more shots through the bathroom door, hitting her in the hand and head. A source says steroid drugs were found in the home and there was evidence of heavy drinking.
