- Patrick Dempsey beat out 6 other bidders, including Starbucks, to buy the bankrupt Tully’s coffee chain for just over $9 million. He says it’s a brand that needed to be preserved and jobs needed to be saved. Looks like he’ll be spending a lot more time in Seattle!
- Mick Jagger says the Rolling Stones are weighing their tour options for 2013. Keith Richards said "It'd be dopey to bring things up to this level and say, 'Well, that's that.' So they’re telling fans to just sit back and wait for an announcement.
- The New York Times says Lance Armstrong may confess to doping to persuade anti-doping officials to allow him to return to professional cycling. The WADA code says athletes who fully confess to doping might be eligible for a reduced punishment. But Lance’s attorneys say he's not in talks with anyone about a confession.
