A credit card skimmer has been discovered at a gas station in North Logan. Thieves use these skimmers to steal your credit card info as you swipe it through the machine. It’s a homemade device and could have been there for about a week without being noticed. The good news is, no information gathered on the skimmer can be used because the owner of the device would have to plug it into a computer to access the info. The bad news is….there could be more out there. It's probably a good idea to pay cash at gas stations when you can.
