When Kitt Wakeley was 5 and his half-sister Tasha Henderson was 4, they were removed from their home and bounced from foster home to foster home together. Tasha was then taken away and placed in another home and they never saw each other again.
They were both adopted eventually and their last names changed. They looked for each other and Tasha finally found Kitt through Ancestry.com. She reached out to him on Facebook and says she knew it was her brother as soon as she saw his smile in a photo.
Now, after 40 years apart, they’ve finally reconnected and they were shocked to find out they only live a mile apart! They’re now making up for lost time apart and getting to know each other again.
