Hundreds of Summit County residents remain on forced evacuation today, as some 250 firefighters battle a lightning-sparked blaze that has destroyed 13 homes, several other structures, vehicles and boats.
The blaze was sparked Tuesday afternoon, and had grown to 1500 acres by Wednesday morning.
Other northern Utah blazes are burning in Box Elder, Cache and Tooele counties.
All are believed to be lightning-caused.
There have been no injuries.
